investment program.
HOME RUN invests directly in the independent practices, providers, and teams who keep rural communities cared for — across Hawaiʻi Island and qualifying rural Oʻahu — through recruitment, retention, upskilling, allied health, and rural practice leadership awards.
This program is supported by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) as part of a financial assistance award totaling $188,592,439.75, 100 percent funded by CMS/HHS.
Who HOME RUN is for
Rural clinics and provider-owned practices recruiting or holding on to clinical staff.
Medical assistants, allied health professionals, and staff earning credentials that stay in the community.
Clinicians making a multi-year service commitment to a qualifying rural practice.
